Stewart Smith’s Catherine Begley has been honored by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of this year’s 40 Under 40 business leaders. Catherine is being recognized by the PBJ as one of “40 remarkable individuals who are making their mark on the region,” which includes Wilmington, Delaware; Delanco, New Jersey; and West Reading in addition to the immediate Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Catherine was selected from “a highly competitive pool of 340 nominations of business leaders” under the age of 40. She has become a go-to lawyer for leading insurers across the U.S. to ensure their legal rights in complex, high-stakes matters regarding product recalls. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage, crisis management, food and product contamination and recall, and casualty litigation matters.
40 Under 40 honorees “comprise all manner of professionals, from lawyers and real estate brokers to doctors and financiers to nonprofit leaders and individuals in tech and the life sciences.”
Catherine will be honored at a gala on May 19 at Rivers Casino Philadelphia and in a special print edition of the Philadelphia Business Journal on May 20.
